Art Requirements

Dimensions (Size)

Artwork must be designed to the exact dimensions (in inches) of the item you ordered. To ensure accuracy, you can request a template by emailing us at info@signsourcepro.com. Please specify the exact dimensions and type of item (e.g., “Template request for an 8’ x 4’ vinyl banner” or “3” x 3” circle sticker”). 

Color Space

 We recommend using the CMYK color space for all artwork submissions. For other color spaces, we cannot guarantee color accuracy or matching. 

Resolution (DPI/PPI)

Artwork should have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI for the best print quality. 

File Format

We accept the following file formats: PDF, EPS, and TIFF.

Text and Layers

  •  If your design includes text, please outline all text objects (for vector files).
  • If your design is raster-based, ensure all layers are flattened.

Print-Ready Files

 Artwork must be submitted in a print-ready format. We will print exactly what is provided without making revisions to your file(s).

For embossed or spot gloss designs, please contact us at info@signsourcepro.com.

Requesting a template

When you request and open a template, it will already be in the correct dimensions you specified. Templates include guidelines to help you keep essential design elements within the safe zone (if applicable).

Before submitting your artwork, ensure you:

  • Remove/delete the template layer, as it is for reference only and should not be part of the final file.

Uploading you artwork

 Please email your artwork file(s) to us at info@signsourcepro.com.

Color-Sensitive Artwork

If your branding is color-sensitive, we offer color-matching services at an additional cost:

  • $45 per Pantone color templates.

Please note:

  • Color matching is not available for illuminated prints, as colors shift when illuminated.
  • We only match solid colors (no gradients or photographs).
  • Exact matches may not always be achievable due to the limitations of CMYK printing.

PDF Proofs

A PDF proof can be requested when submitting your artwork file. This service incurs a $25 charge.


What’s included in the PDF proof:

  • A scaled-down digital version of your artwork for verification.
  • Checks to ensure your file opened correctly on our end.
  • A review of spelling, typos, and missing elements in case multiple files were submitted.


What’s NOT included in the PDF proof:

  • Color accuracy verification (device screens vary in color display).
  • Image resolution verification (proofs are scaled to 1:10 for easy sharing).


We will not proceed with production until you approve the proof, so timely approval is essential to avoid delays.

Design Assistance

 Need help creating or revising your artwork? We offer graphic design services for $35/hour, with a one-hour minimum.
